Shots fired at Tyler gas station

Tyler police are investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday outside of a local gas station.

Officials say they responded to D&N Grocery in the 1000 block of W. Bow Street at around 7 p.m. Wednesday night.

Witnesses say a maroon car pulled into the gas station parking lot. They say a woman got out of the car and started running towards the gas station. Then, witnesses say a black truck drove by and started firing towards the grocery store.

"I heard gun shots, maybe two shotgun blasts and then after that maybe four or five pistol shots, from a black truck going down the street," says Arthur Williams, who was standing outside of D&N grocery when the shooting happened.

Witnesses say the truck drove down Bow street and turned left on Palace Avenue.

No one was injured. However, at least one vehicle in the parking lot was struck.

Investigators are currently interviewing witnesses.
