Police: Pair broke into cars to get credit cards to take to Walmart

Gaston County Police have arrested two people they say were stealing credit cards out of vehicles on Chateau Drive and using the cards illegally at Walmart.

Jason and Karen Davis, both 34, of Mt. Holly, are charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle and larceny, according to a release from the Gaston County Police.

Police say they stole credit cards out of the vehicles in the Stanley area off Hickory Grove Road and used them at the Walmart in Belmont.

The break-ins occurred sometime between 9 p.m. and on Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday morning, according to the release.
