SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) -

As if the first time wasn't bad enough, vandals have apparently hit the Kiwanis Camp on Bringle Ferry Road for a second time.

According to a report at the Rowan Sheriff's Office, club members visiting the camp on Friday noticed more damage to the property that appears to have happened since the first report was made early last week.

An estimated $75,000 worth of damage was noted on the first report, with windows broken, large holes smashed in walls, lighting fixtures destroyed, even an old piano wrecked.

On one positive note, a group of AMVETS volunteers visited the camp and cleaned up much of the mess that had been created by the vandals.

Deputies are asking that anyone with information about the vandalism to call Salisbury-Rowan Crime Stoppers at 1-866-639-5245.
