Officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department have arrested two people for their involvement in a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle incident.
On Sunday, April 14, at approximately 4 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Arbor Trace Drive after a witness called 911 to report seeing two people break into a vehicle in the parking lot before leaving the area in their own vehicle.
The victim wrote down the license plate number of the vehicle the duo was traveling in and forwarded the information to 911, who passed it on to patrol officers in the field.
A short time later, officers located the vehicle, the suspects, and items stolen during the break-in.
Shannon Gregory, 33, and Dennis Montgomery, 40, were arrested and charged with breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and larceny.
