A suspect is in custody following a reported stabbing in Kenwood on Monday.
Authorities say two people were stabbed behind Panera Bread on Montgomery Road. It happened just after 6 p.m.
According to Hamilton County court records, Branden Thompson, 30, was involved in a verbal dispute with the victims regarding a child custody exchange. Thompson chased the victims' vehicle to the parking lot of Panera Bread and hit their car to make them stop.
Thompson then approached the vehicle and threatened the victims, choking the woman and causing a knife wound to her left hand. The male victim was cut on the right upper arm.
Thompson also threatened a witness before fleeing the scene.
The victims' injuries are not life-threatening.
Thompson is charged with two counts of felonious assault.
