Lincoln County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Investigators operating on a tip from the public arrested five people for their involvement in a meth operation at a home on Coral Drive, just north of Lincolnton.

Investigators went to the home shortly before 6 p.m. Friday where they discovered chemicals used to make methamphetamine. The State Bureau of Investigation was called in the assist with the search and clean-up, which officials say took until midnight.

Autumn Dawn Buckland, 31, Bryan Andrew Brown, 39, Christa Ann McClung, 38, Lesley Edward Greene, 40, and Ashley Renee Propst, 25, were all arrested for their involvement.

Each of the five is charged with one felony count each of manufacturing a controlled substance schedule II, conspiracy, and possession/distribute meth precursor.

McClung is also charged with one felony count of maintaining a dwelling/vehicle for a controlled substance.

"It was obvious from the evidence seized from the home that meth was not only being used and sold from the home but manufactured in the "one pot" method," Narcotics Division Lt. Jason Reid said of the incident.

The five people charged in the case were taken to the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center without bond and will have a first appearance in District Court on April 8.
