Recipe: Midwood Smokehouse Rib Rub


Matt Barry from Midwood Smokehouse visited WBTV News Saturday Morning to show us how to make the restaurant's signature 2 1/2 pound St. Louis Ribs. 

He says he likes them better than baby back ribs because they have more meat.

After he showed us how to prep the ribs so they pull apart from the bone easier, he showed us his rib rub ingredients:

Rib Rub

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup kosher salt

1/2 cup paprika

2 tablespoons black pepper

2 tablespoons chili powder

1 tablespoon granulated garlic

pinch of cayenne for spice
