The teenager charged with manslaughter following a deadly wreck in east Charlotte that we brought you as breaking news yesterday morning, will be making a court appearance later today.

Traffic was backed up for miles along I-77 south in Charlotte overnight following a wreck.  It has since been cleared and traffic is moving again.  We'll show you what happened.

A plan to toughen laws on drunk driving in North Carolina has been approved by the state house.

Maryland is the latest state to pass new gun laws...people who buy handguns will now be fingerprinted.

This afternoon, gun control advocates plan to make a statement by turning in tens of thousands of petitions to North Carolina Senator Kay Hagan at her offices in Charlotte, Greensboro and Raleigh.

Rescue workers in India are searching through the rubble of a collapsed building right now...hoping to find survivors.  Police say at least 31 people died and dozens more were hurt in Mumbai overnight.
