"Vadering" is the newest internet meme craze

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

Bored at work? Hanging with friends and don't have anything to do?  You can take part in one of the latest fads sweeping the internet and social media.

It is called "Vadering."

If you are like most people, I'll be honest - I haven't, and you've seen the Star Wars movies then you'll get the concept fairly easily.

You have one person playing the role of Darth Vader and at least one (more if you'd like) to play the victim of Vader.

The "victim" jumps in the air while "Vader" stretches out his or her hand and uses "The Force" to make them levitate.

The photos are starting to hit social media sites all over the place.  Could be a fun afternoon... if you have nothing else to do.

If you have tried (or plan to try it now), send us a photo!  We want to see it.  Email us at sendit@wbtv.com or Facebook us or tweet us!

Neighbors told WBTV there are no fire hydrants in their neighborhood. The fire happened around 8 Friday night, at a home on Saffir Court. According to fire officials at the scene, the closest fire hydrant was almost a mile away. "We watched them set up the portab...
