CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - One man, possibly two, were stabbed during an apparent fight at a home in west Charlotte early Thursday morning, police told WBTV.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police raced to two different scenes after reports of multiple people stabbed.
Rescue crews first arrived along Highland Avenue, and found a man covered in blood. Medics transported the unknown man to Carolinas Medical Center, where police said they believe he will recover.
Another man was located just a couple of blocks away at a home off of Meredith Avenue. Officers said he too, was covered in blood.
According to police, and argument started between the two men around 1am, and quickly escalated.
Push came to shove, and officers said one of the men grabbed a knife and stabbed the other.
But because both men were found with blood on them, officers said it was difficult to figure out if both men had been cut.
The second man was also transported by Medics, where police will further their investigation, and try to determine which person was hurt, and which man may be charged with the assault.
