Suspect surrenders after Hamilton Twp. SWAT incident

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

A suspect has surrendered after a SWAT incident in Hamilton Township on Tuesday night.

Just after 11 a.m., Hamilton Township Police Units were called to the 6000 block of Midnight Sun Drive on a report of neighbor trouble.

Upon arrival, police found that a man had threatened some other men with a firearrm.

Hamilton Township units attempted, but were unsuccessful in making contact with the suspect. The Warren County Sheriff's Office and the Warren County Tactical Response Team were called to assist, and the suspect eventually surrendered peacefully.

The suspect was identified as Christopher Lonsberry, 61. He was taken to the Warren County Jail and charged with aggravated menacing, assault, weapons intoxication and inducing panic.
