Firefighters from Crowder's Mountain Fire & Rescue, and personnel from Gaston Emergency Medical Services, responded to traffic collision with injuries, on Crowders Creek Road at Southern Farm Drive, at 11:25pm on Monday March 25th, according to a news release.
The accident involved a single vehicle with one occupant striking a tree, that pinned the passenger in the vehicle.
Crews had to physically rescue the passenger from the wreckage.
The patient was transported to Gaston Memorial Hospital with life threatening injuries.
