ORLANDO, FL (CNN) -

Police video released Wednesday shows a glimpse into the dorm room of a former Florida college student who was allegedly plotting a deadly attack on his peers.

Footage from a body-mounted video camera released by the University of Central Florida Police Department shows officers entering James Seevakumaran's dorm room with guns drawn.

WBTV is choosing not to air this video due to its graphic nature.

The fire alarms, supposedly activated by Seevakumaran, are heard in the video.

Police say he pulled the alarm early Monday morning in an attempt to get the 500 students in the building to rush outside.

The video also shows police entering the man's room and finding the 30-year-old dead on the floor.

Authorities said he killed himself.

Police found weapons, about 1,000 rounds of ammunition, and four homemade bombs in his room.

Those who knew Seevakumaran told authorities he was a loner who didn't like to talk to others, but wasn't viewed as a threat.
