Another major hurdle was cleared Monday as the Charlotte 49ers get ready for their first ever football season.
The team opened their first ever spring football on a cloudy, misty day. The weather wasn't indicative of the enthusiasm of the team.
An exciting day for Coach Brad Lambert's squad as they continue to zero in on opening day August 31st when they host Campbell.
Spring practice will go until April 20th when they will have their first ever spring game.
So until then these practices are crucial as they will determine a lot of starting positions.
