CMPD along with other agencies in Mecklenburg County conducted a DWI Checking Station at the 6200 block of Park Road.
The Checking Station ran from 11pm Saturday to 3am Sunday.
This checking station was held in conjunction with the St Patty's Day "Booze it and Lose it" campaign. The BAT mobile will be on site for breath testing.
The agencies that participated were CMPD and Mint Hill police department.
The results of the checking station are:
DWI Charges- 15
No operators license- 11
Drive while license is revoked- 5
Open Container of Alcohol- 2
Other charges ( tags, inspections, insurance )- 19
