CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -
The Arts and Sciences in Charlotte got a boost Saturday when Wells Fargo announced it is offering a $200,000 grant.
The grant will match dollar for dollar all donations made through power2give.org from organizations that receive unrestricted operating support from the Arts and Science Council (ASC).
Power2give.org is a platform where individuals directly donate to projects they care about.
The organizations that can benefit from this grant range from large institutions like the Mint Museum and Discovery Place to small groups like Theatre Charlotte and Wing Haven.
This grant marks the largest the ASC has received for power2give.
Wells Fargo provided $100,000 last year specifically to support Charlotte Symphony projects.
