Police in Charlotte say a man was assaulted with a fishbowl on Wednesday.
The incident was reported at an apartment on the 1200 block of S. Caldwell Street at 7:30 p.m., according to the report from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
A 62-year-old man was taken by Medic to Presbyterian Hospital for a cut to his ear after he was assaulted with the fishbowl.
According to police, the assault came after a verbal argument between the victim and the man who hit him.
The victim was listed as intoxicated at the time of the incident, according to the report.
