SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) -
Two Salisbury men were arrested over the weekend after deputies say they were breaking into homes taking guns and stealing cars.
Jeremy Eugene Motley, 22, of Salisbury, and Michael Lee Upright, 40, are charged with multiple counts of breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering, according to the arrest reports from the Rowan County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say Upright and Motley had been breaking into vehicles and homes since December.
Upright had stolen a 1971 GMC pickup, a shotgun, a rifle and a 1999 Chevrolet pickup truck, according to the arrest warrants.
Warrants were also taken out on Upright for stealing things like construction materials, tools, an antique clock, a TV and another vehicle.
Motley is facing several charges for breaking into homes and taking antiques, jewelry and ammunition, according to the warrants.
Motley's bond is set at $45,000. Upright's bond is set at $75,000.
