LINCOLN COUNTY, NC (WBTV) -
A man was arrested early Friday morning after Narcotics investigators served a search warrant at an apartment on Georgetown Road, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office.
The arrest came after a month long investigation that started with tips received on the Drug Tip Line. Investigators identified the person and conducted undercover purchases, which established probable cause to apply for the search warrant, deputies said.
Officers arrested Jarvis Lamont Jackson, 21, and charged him with one felony count each of possession with the intent to sell and deliver marijuana and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.
He was also charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Investigators seized approximately two ounces of high grade hydro marijuana, which is more expensive than marijuana grown in soil, the report states.
Jackson was taken before a Lincoln County magistrate and placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center before being released under a $15,000 secured bond.
The Drug Tip Line is 704-736-8606. Investigators follow-up on all tips left on the line and the caller remains anonymous.
