ISP: Cincy woman gets DWI in two states

DEARBORN COUNTY, IN (FOX19) -

A Cincinnati woman gets a DWI in two states on Friday night.

An ISP trooper was parked on I-275 northbound between the Carroll Cropper Bridge and exit 16 when a white 2004 Ford Taurus drove past then ran off the shoulder of the road nearly striking the trooper's vehicle.

According to ISP, the trooper caught up to the vehicle and attempted to pull the driver over.

At the same time there was another citizen on 911 with Dearborn County Dispatch describing the same vehicle having run off the road into the median in Kentucky just prior to entering Indiana.

Even though the trooper had his lights and siren running, officers say the vehicle continued traveling northbound at approximately 40 mph until they entered Ohio.

The car finally stopped at approximately the 20 mile marker.

The driver, Juana C. Robak, 37, of Cincinnati was arrested.

Police say she blew a .14.

In Indiana she's charged with DUI and resisting arrest with a car. In Ohio she's facing DWI charges.

  • She said: It's time for Panthers to invest in secondary, starting in 2018 NFL draft

    Saturday, April 21 2018 1:24 PM EDT2018-04-21 17:24:58 GMT

Here's a revolutionary thought: The Carolina Panthers should invest in their secondary. And not with mid- to late-round picks or development projects, either. On April 26, the first night of the 2018 NFL Draft, Carolina should take a defensive back at No. 24. A day-one starter. A leader.
