Crump got the award for his dedication and commitment for his nearly 3 decades in the television news business.
He is an award winning journalists who tells stories that many overlook.
The National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) is an organization of journalists, students and media-related professionals that provides quality programs and services to and advocates on behalf of black journalists worldwide.
About 150 journalists converged to the Queen City for the conference.
