Fire investigators are trying to determine what caused a fire Saturday morning that forced neighbors to evacuate.
The fire broke out in a unit at Hunters Pointe apartments on Prospect Drive in north Charlotte.
Smoke and flames heavily damaged the unit where the fire started.
It got so bad that the fire forced firefighters to evacuate the apartment next door.
No one was hurt.
The Red Cross is helping one person who was displaced by the fire.
