WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WBTV/AP) -

It appears Bobcats owner and basketball legend Michael Jordan is getting ready to tie the knot.

Jordan applied for a marriage license Thursday morning at the main Palm Beach County courthouse, according to a spokesperson for the clerk's office.

In Florida, applicants must apply in person. The license is good for 60 days.

There's no word yet on the identity of the bride-to-be, but Jordan and longtime girlfriend Yvette Prieto got engaged in December 2011. Prieto is a Cuban-American model.

This will be Jordan's second marriage. He married Juanita Vanoy in September 1989. They have two sons and a daughter. The couple divorced in 2006.
