Missing 13-Year-Old; New Details On Chavez Death

It's a cold start to the day and they're really feeling it in the mountains.  Several school systems are closed today.  Ashe, Avery, Mitchell, Watauga and Yancey County schools are all CLOSED today.  Lees-McRae College is on a two hour delay.

Cam Man Ron Lee will join us live with new details about a missing 13-year-old girl.  It's been more than two days since the teen disappeared from her home in south Charlotte...and now her family is afraid time may be running out.

New details about the death of Venezuela President Hugo Chavez...a top government official now says Chavez died of a massive heart attack...and said he did not want to die.

Firefighters in Gaston County are credited with saving a family of seven from their burning home.  We're also working to get word on the cause of a fire inside a room at the Holiday Inn in Uptown Charlotte.
