Greensboro, NC (WBTV) - Couple of Charlotte based teams hit the basketball court Tuesday night in Greensboro as the state playoffs continued. Cuthbertson beat Trinity in the 2A men's quarterfinals and advanced to the semifinals where they will play Shelby Saturday at 11AM because the Golden Lions won their quarterfinal match-up beating Smoky Mountain 84-46.
Meanwhile in the ladies 1A bracket Lake Norman Charter was knocked out of the tournament by Bishop McGuiness losing 82-63 in the quarterfinals. But hats off to the Lady Knights for a great season.
