CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -
Northwest flow off of the Great Lakes will keep enough moisture in place to allow for more snowfall in the High Country today, but clearing is expected in the Piedmont.
This time around, the moisture won't make it out of the mountains, and we'll see a return of sunshine in the Piedmont, and even the foothills. Even with that sunshine, a North breeze will keep temperatures in the upper 40s. Temperatures in the High Country will struggle to get above the freezing mark this afternoon.
Highs will still climb further than yesterday, thanks to early day snow showers that held temperatures in the 30s for much of Saturday.
Our next system is expected to bring another round of rain Tuesday.
