The Mason Police Department is investigating a theft that occurred at Hampton Inn on Beach Boulevard in Mason, Ohio.
On January 17, 2013, at about 6 a.m., an unknown male took an undisclosed amount of cash from the lobby cash drawer.
As the hotel clerk was away from the front desk, the suspect opened the unsecured cash drawer, removed the cash, and then fled.
The male is not an employee of the hotel and is not believed to be a guest from the hotel.
