CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -
A vehicle crash forced the closure of all northbound lanes on Interstate 77 through uptown Charlotte during lunchtime.
The crash happened around 11 a.m. Traffic was being rerouted onto LaSalle Street at Exit 12 Thursday.
Emergency crews cut at least one person out of a car.
Two people were taken to Carolinas Medical Center, one with life threatening injuries and the other with non-life threatening injuries, according to Medic.
The road reopened after being closed for just over an hour
