CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

Robbery detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department arrested three men in connection with three recent robberies.

At 7:37 p.m. Monday, a man was walking on Scaleybark Road. He said two men jumped out of a vehicle and approached him. One of the men grabbed the victim, threw him to the ground, and kicked him. The second man pointed a gun at the victim. Both demanded money.

The suspects were scared off when several vehicles passed by. They left in their vehicle.

A short time later, officers found a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle description. They conducted a traffic stop and found the men inside the vehicle matched the description of the suspects.

The victim positively identified 20-year-old Yahdan Wheeler and 18-year-old Jarnell Ervin as the men who approached him. 18-year-old Vincent Price was also arrested.

The men were taken to the Law Enforcement Center and interviewed about several cases.

Investigators determined the men were involved in all three robberies. They were taken to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office.

All are charged with felony attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy. Additional charges are pending.
