Lufkin Crime Stoppers have a video and they would like you to look at it to help identify a man who walked into an area department store, loaded his cart and left without paying.
The incident occurred at a Walmart just before noon on December 17, 2012. The man in the video entered the store, pushed an empty cart to the electronics department, and spent a few minutes browsing the area, all clearly seen on the store's video.
He then chooses a 46" Sanyo LCD 1080p television, loaded it into the cart, and then pushed it out of the store without paying.
The security video shows a fairly clear image of the man, who is a white male, and at the time of the theft, had short dark hair and thin facial hair. He wore a gray hoodie, a blue t-shirt, black pants and black shoes.
Before store employees reacted to the theft, the man had loaded the television into a vehicle and fled the area. A witness described the vehicle as a silver SUV; possibly as Toyota 4-Runner.
