One man was killed in a home invasion in Hickory Saturday morning.
Hickory Police responded to a call in the 1700 block of 14th Street NE. The man said he had shot an intruder.
Officers found a man and the caller at the home.
The man who had been shot was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as 32-year-old Jonathan Lamar Jordan.
The homeowner, 69-year-old Paul Ohle, was taken to the hospital where he was treated for injuries police say he sustained as a result of an assault during the reported break-in.
