Robbery detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department have charged 31-year-old My Tuan Pham, 51-year-old Dennis Heath, and 47-year-old Robert Israel for their involvement in several robbery cases.
On Thursday, February 21, 2013, at approximately 11:23 a.m., officers say Pham entered the Harris Teeter located at 112 S. Sharon Amity Road and demanded prescription medication from the pharmacy.
Officers say Pham left without receiving any medication. Responding officers located him nearby and robbery detectives responded.
Pham was taken to the Law Enforcement Center where he was interviewed and charged in connection with three robbery cases.
Robbery detectives also identified and charged Heath and Israel for their role in a Walgreens robbery that occurred on February 20, 2013.
Pham is charged with two counts of common law robbery, attempted common law robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.
Heath is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Israel is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
All of the suspects are currently in the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office.
