Len Fulkerson, the owner/operator of Window Genie of Greater Lafayette, received the Award of Excellence from the franchise corporate team at their annual meeting in San Antonio in January. The criteria for winning this award is based on being a well-rounded Window Genie franchise owner; one that excels in every aspect of their business and makes significant contributions to the Window Genie system. Window Genie chose to award Fulkerson for his exceptional employee and customer management skills, having an overall outstanding year, contribution and cooperation with corporate initiatives, and participation in the Window Genie give-back program, “Windows 4 Wishes”.
In recognition of his notable efforts, the corporate team invited him to address the convention in San Antonio. Quoting author Bryant H. McGill, Fulkerson said, “Your reputation often rests not on your ability to do what you say, but rather on your ability to do what people expect.” Receiving great reviews on social media and business review sites, Fulkerson practices a simple approach to customer satisfaction; simply putting the customer’s desires and needs first and working to exceed expectations. He employs an excellent office and technical staff to ensure his customers are receiving the highest quality and most rapid service possible. They also follow-up after a service with the customer to discuss their overall experience.
