CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -
The Olympic Trojans are undefeated in the regular season for the second straight season.
Coach Ty Baumgardner's team is 22-0 entering the playoffs ranked #1 in 4A.
They're also nationally ranked. They are currently #19 in USA Today and #10 according to Max Preps.
Tremendous success despite having only one starter back and two players from last year's team.
In each of the last 2 seasons, the Trojans have lost in the 4th round of the playoffs.
But this year's youth makes them dangerous and a threat to finally get over the top after previous post-season failures. Why? This new crop of players don't focus on something they didn't take part in since they were not on those teams.
