CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

We are all so dependent on our "devices" it becomes very stressful when the batteries run low and we find ourselves without an outlet for charging.

The Bell and Howell solar charger promises to charge phones, e-readers, GPS units, Bluetooth and games using the power of the sun, or a USB cable.

We picked it up for about $20 on Amazon and gave it a try on WBTV News Saturday Morning.
