HARLAN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -
A Little Miami School bus was involved in a minor accident on Friday morning.
The bus went off the roadway as the driver took action to avoid an oncoming vehicle just after 8 a.m. at Whitacre and Gustin Rider roads in Harlan Township. The bus went into a ditch and then came back onto the roadway. The bus sustained minor damage, including a mirror that was broken when it came in contact with a tree.
The bus was en route to Harlan-Butlerville Primary School and carrying four first and second grade students.
Dispatchers say one student suffered minor injuries, but school district officials say no one was hurt. Three of the students were released to their parents and taken to school. The fourth student was verbally released to school officials and transported to school by the principal.
