Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are seeking witnesses to a shooting near a club on Monroe Road.
They say patrons were leaving McBonie's Bar and Grill at closing time when someone fired two shots from a neighboring parking lot early Friday morning. Police say at least one of the bullets struck a person in the leg. The victim is expected to be okay.
Despite the large crowd, police say no claims to have seen the shooting take place. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 704-334-1600. You can remain anonymous.
