ROCK HILL, SC (WBTV) -
A man was arrested in Rock Hill on 13 charges after vehicles at a local fitness club were burglarized, according to the York County Sheriff's Office.
The break-ins happened on Wednesday, February 13, at the Omni Fitness Center on Celanese Road. Once on scene, deputies were told by four different victims that their vehicles were broken into, the report states.
On all four vehicles, a window had been busted out, and various items including wallets, purses, bags, and credit/debit cards were stolen.
Forensics officers then arrived at the scene and processed the vehicles.
Later the same day, deputies were notified that a purse was found on Kingsley Drive by a man walking his dog. The purse was found to belong to one of the victims and returned to its owner.
After investigating the thefts, deputies arrested Kenneth Leon Jackson, 32, for the crimes.
Jackson was charged with four counts of breaking and entering into an automobile, four counts of petit larceny, two counts of fugitive from justice for warrants in North Carolina and Florida, and one count each of criminal conspiracy, driving under license suspension, and headlights improper.
