Gov. Jan Brewer is marking Arizona's 101st birthday with two events Thursday at the Capitol.
The governor plans Thursday morning to unveil a privately commissioned bronze statue of Arizona miner George Warren, whose image appears on the state's official seal.
Brewer Thursday evening will turn on permanent lighting for the Capitol's copper dome and the Winged Victory figure atop the dome.
The governor's office said there'll be a brief fireworks display after the lighting.
