Report: Man says neighbor kicked in door, "stabbed him up" after drinking

ROCK HILL, SC (WBTV) -

A Rock Hill man is in jail after deputies say he stabbed a man several times.

The incident was reported on Monday night at 10:10 p.m. on the 100 block of Cel River Road, according to the report from the York County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies arrived at the home to find Kenneth Campbell, 44, of Rock Hill, suffering from multiple stab wounds on his front porch.

EMS arrived on scene and immediately began preparing Campbell to be airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

Campbell, and 28-year-old Ashley Williams, told deputies that Roddey Gordon, 52, showed up at the house, kicked the door in when they wouldn't let him in and started stabbing Campbell with a knife, according to the report.

Everyone had been drinking, according to the report.

Roddey was arrested at a nearby house.

The investigation is ongoing.
