Thomas County Central first baseman Jenna Reeves is taking her powerful bat to Chipola Junior College.
Reeves signed her scholarship with Chipola at the Thomas County Central High School Media Center Monday afternoon.
Reeves is an all-state player.
She hit .521, belted seven homeruns and drove in 36 runs.
Her goal is to play at a four year school and she believes a quality program like Chipola will help her achieve that dream.
"The Panhandle Conference is definitely the better half of JUCO nation. They usually finish in the top five. They are ranked top five to start the season. It is a competitive league and I am glad that I am in it," said Jenna Reeves.
Thomas County Central won the 1-AAAAA softball title in 2012.
