CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -
The LPGA announced today that the Symetra Classic will be returning to Charlotte, but with a new date.
The tournament will return to the Raintree Country Club on May 6-11. That is a week after the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow.
Last year, the tournament was in September and was won by Mi Hyang Lee who came back from 5 shots down to pick up her first career Symetra Tour win.
The tour features the future stars of the LPGA like Cheyenne Woods, who is the niece of Tiger Woods. The tour will have 142 players from 40 different countries.
