Officers with the Providence Division of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department arrested a man for breaking into a local dry cleaners, according to CMPD.
The break-in happened on January 31 at the Peachy Clean Dry Cleaners on Monroe Road. Officers were dispatched to the store after the manager found the door and cash drawer had been pried opened, the report states.
Police told WBTV that information and evidence gathered during the investigation identified Bruce Stanley Jones, 52, as the suspect in the case.
Jones was arrested on Wednesday, February 6, and charged with breaking and entering and larceny.
