One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.More >>

A resident at an apartment complex in Mooresville this morning shot an intruder trying to break in.
The incident happened around 8:10am at the apartments on Colonial Ridge Circle.
Mooresville Police say a woman shot a suspect who was breaking into her apartment.
Mooresville Police confirm that the suspect is the woman's boyfriend.
The man was transported to Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, then transferred to CMS in Charlotte, his injuries are considered non life threatening.
