Assaf Weinberg has lived in Charlotte three years and in that time he's grown frustrated with the Mecklenburg tax office. It started when he got his tax bill for his car.
"It made me wonder where they got these number from," said Weinberg.
He contacted the assessors office. The answers he got started him down a confusing path.
"I thought it was crazy," said Weinberg. "I thought it was crazy last year when I got the same exact bill."
Weinberg contacted the WBTV "Problem Solvers." We began asking questions and found more confused taxpayers.
"You're fighting the city and the state and that's a no-win situation," said Janet McCorkle.
