CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -
For the 3rd time this season, Johnson C. Smith sophomore forward Emilio Parks has been named CIAA Newcomer of the Week.
In the Golden Bulls 2 games last week, Parks did his job in a big way.
In a loss to Winston-Salem State, Parks had 20 points.
In their next game against Shaw, he scored 16 points, collected 8 rebounds, and tallied 2 blocks. The Golden Bulls would go on for the 65-57 win.
For the season, Parks is shooting 64% from the field which leads the CIAA.
JCSU next game will be this Saturday as they hit the road for a contest at Fayetteville State.
