© CBS 5Arizona's voter registration has climbed 3 percent in the wake of the 2012 general election, the Arizona Secretary of State's office said.
Of the state's 3.2 million voters, 1,147,543 are Republicans, 981,998 are Democrats and 1,062,856 have either registered with independent parties or not designated a party preference.
State registration rolls total 3,221,133 voters.
Libertarians make up a little less than 1 percent of the state's total registration with 23,412, while 5,066 voters are currently registered as members of the Green Party, according to Secretary Ken Bennett.
Additionally, the Americans Elect Party has enrolled 258 voters since joining the state's other recognized political parties in 2011.
