Detectives in Iredell County arrested a 57-year-old after complaints the man was making and selling pot.
James Robert Berst of Watering Trough Road in Statesville is charged with maintaining a dwelling place for controlled substances, Possession with Intent to sell or Deliver Marijuana and Manufacture Marijuana. He was placed in the Iredell County Jail under a $50,000 secured bond.
Detectives say they found 450 grams of high-grade marijuana valued at $11,250 at Berst's home. They said additional items in the home showed he was manufacturing and growing marijuana.
