One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.More >>

A Cheviot man has been arrested for kidnapping and raping a mentally impaired woman.
Robert Cook was arrested on Friday for a series of incidences that occurred on January 15.
According to reports, Cook removed a woman from her home in Montgomery. The woman was said to be impaired due to preexisting mental conditions.
Police say Cook proceeded to engage in sexual contact with the victim knowing that her ability to resist was substantially impaired. Reports indicate that the incident took place in Mt. Airy Forest
Cook has been charged with kidnapping, sexual imposition and raping an impaired woman.
He is currently being held in Hamilton County Jail. Bond has been set at $900 thousand.
