CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

Mallard Creek wide receiver Marquez North has verbally committed to Tennessee.

The 6 foot 4 North chose the Vols over North Carolina.

North runs a 4.41 forty so he is a great combination of size and speed and is consider by most as the 2nd best recruit in the state of North Carolina.

The Vols top 2 receivers are leaving school early for the NFL Draft so he could be a factor from day one with Tennessee.
